A wonderful location on the river. Peacefull within a wonderful natural environment. The residential unit was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We will defiantly book another stay.

We had to check in very late and TK was very helpfull and accomodative. The cottage was already heated up for us which was great. Everything is spacious, very clean and beautiful. Beautiful gardens with outside patio furniture to soak up the sun, and access to the river with lush lawn and benches to sit and enjoy the view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be returning.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful, spacious and well appointed house on the Vaal River. We loved the alfresco dining and outdoor areas and the wrap around pool was lovely. This house lends itself for entertaining friends and family.

This place was amazing, the pictures are not doing it justice. The place is very beautiful and very neat. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. We had an awesome time with my family. We took away very beautiful memories.

The garden cottage was wonderful and they even brought us wood for the braai at night which was a really nice touch. The grounds are beautiful along with the pool which the kids loved. TK and team were friendly and very responsive. Overall a great place and great stay, pity it was so short. Would go back for sure!

A peaceful getaway with friends. We recently spent a weekend at a truly beautiful and secluded location with some friends, and it was the perfect retreat. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of city life. The highlight was the beautiful river bank, the perfect backdrop for our time together. The secluded setting allowed us to fully unplug and immerse ourselves in the moment. We left feeling completely refreshed and reconnected. A hidden gem for anyone looking to share a peaceful, rejuvenating experience with great company. We can't wait to go back and make more memories.

We were at The Boathouse for R&R and some fishing at a quiet and scenic spot. We got everything we could have hoped for. The location is to die for. TK and his team did a great job of helping us relax and enjoy ourselves. Somehow present when we need them but never imposing. The fishing was very good considering it was winter. We will return for sure.

From the first moment we made contact we felt this was a different AirBnB experience. The communication was fast, friendly and super easy to follow. When we arrived the staff made an amazing first impression and we felt at home and looked after. This felt more like a hotel than an AirBnB but without it feeling forced. The location is stunning and made for a much needed few days out of Johannesburg, even though it's only an hour's drive. You are ON the river, and the bench on the end of the jetty is simply perfect for sunrise and sunsets. Great experience and we will 100% be back!

The Boathouse was amazing and a truly tranquil experience. The surroundings and the river views looked beautiful. The staff on the property were really helpful and always made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home.

Place was great for our small family. Spectacular views from each room. Amenities were great, like a big gas griller, and the beds were comfortable. Everyone had a pleasant stay and a relaxing time.

Liam and Craig were great hosts, very helpful and accommodating. The place is beautiful and a relaxing environment. My only recommendation would be to carry mosquito repellent, because you are close to the river. Other than that it was a good stay.
